Back in Indiana, it was another big college signing day at Castle High School, as six Knights signed on the dotted line.

Elle Ossenberg will stay close to home playing tennis at USI. Abbey Daniel will be even closer to Newburgh, as the state qualifier and all-conference selection signed onto swim at University of Evansville. Jewell Miller is headed to West Lafayette, where the All-American cheerleader will cheer for the Boilermakers of Purdue University. Track and field star Cade Bardwell will take his skills to Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion next year. All-conference and all-state lineman Kenny Butler III will continue his football career with the Sycamores of Indiana State University. Last, but certainly not least, SIAC basketball player of the year, Isaiah Swope, for Division II power University of Southern Indiana.

It's just real exciting. Great to be out here with the other athletes to commit to college just like me. And it just shows that we're determined throughout the COVID year continue to work hard," said Swope. "Mainly, being able to stay close to home, family and friends can see me play. And then on top of that, USI is a growing community with a beautiful coaching staff, so I'm just happy to be a part of the team."
