It was another unseasonably cool morning across the Tri-State, but we only have one more to get through in the extended forecast. The only upside to our cool morning, the afternoons are feeling quite comfortable.

Today is going to be our best day of the week, yet! Sunny skies will persist for the entire day across the Tri-State giving us another pleasant day. Winds will be on the calmer side, but they are still out of the northeast. The ample amount of sunshine will be responsible for getting us to the mid to upper 60s. If you didn't know, we should actually be around 76° for a high temperature today.

High pressure has been dominant for the majority of the week and is responsible for keeping the dry conditions this week. We should take note that tomorrow it will slide off to the east, which will cause winds to shift from the northeast to the south. Our skies will stay dry and sunny for your Friday, but temperatures will soar into the 70s. Changes in the forecast will begin Saturday afternoon. While temperatures will turn more seasonable (mid 70s), don’t be surprised when we wrap up the weekend with showers and thunderstorms.

It's a seasonable and dry start to Friday, but the heat is going to turn up this afternoon. Partly sunny skies will stick around with highs in the mid to upper 80s. The humidity may take the way it feels up a notch. Those southerly winds will help push in that moisture making it feel more like the low 90s. An isolated shower can't be ruled out, but any rainfall won't ruin our plans.
