It's a beautiful, but cold morning across the Tri-State. Most of our communities are getting the day started with sunshine and temperatures in the mid to upper 20s. It's the wind chill factor that's making it feeling like the teens in some spots. However, the breezy conditions will be sticking around through the afternoon!
Despite the breezy conditions, Friday at least looks pleasant - we'll hit 43 ° this afternoon in Evansville under mostly clear skies. Partly cloudy skies will take over later tonight. Don't be surprised if you see a few flurries tonight, especially in our northern communities.

It's going to be chilly Saturday morning with a low of 26°, but thankfully the winds will be on the calm side. Cloud cover will thicken through the afternoon, putting a cap on temperatures - highs are only going to reach 38° that afternoon. Saturday evening may bring about our next chances for scattered snowfall - current model data isn't exactly in agreement quite yet, though it's likely that some of us will at least see scattered snow showers along with some rainfall late Saturday. The snowfall, however, won't likely be what we're all talking about come Super Bowl Sunday morning - temperatures will have plunged into the mid to low teens along the Ohio River.
