We are starting off this Labor Day with beautiful conditions across the Tri-State. Temperatures started out in the mid to upper 60s in most of our communities. Evansville dipped down to 66° for an overnight low. While we are kicking off this Monday with cool, but seasonable temperatures it's going to warm up through much of the day.
High temperatures are expected to top out in the mid to upper 80s for your Labor Day. While temperatures are going to be a bit toast, humidity levels aren't going to feel oppressive. Dew points are going to rise, but stay in the 60s. It's going to be a windy day, so that will add some relief in the heat.
There is a frontal boundary just to our north that could bring a rain chance to our far northern communities, but it's expected to stay to the north. Otherwise, an increase in cloudy skies can be expected in those areas throughout the day.
Have a fun and safe Labor Day!
