Wow!!! It is cold out there on this Friday morning.
Bundle up as you head out the door this morning; most of the Tri-State is waking up to the 30s. We haven't seen temperatures this cold since April and that's all thanks to the cold front that moved through yesterday.

Despite our ample supply of sunshine, Friday looks as though it will remain cool, with a high of 61°. It will mark our coolest afternoon in nearly 2 weeks. After dipping back into the mid 30s early Saturday morning, a strong southerly wind flow will help boost temperatures back into the mid to upper 60s on Saturday.
As a result, the National Weather Service has placed the entirety of the Tri-State under either a Frost Advisory overnight and early Saturday. Our Frost Advisory in Evansville will last up until 8 AM.
As we get closer to Sunday, another cold front is expected to stall across the region. Rainfall will accompany the system and likely linger into the beginning of the work week.
