We're waking up to cool and dry conditions this morning. It's a nice break from the rain!

Dry skies will stick around this afternoon with highs in the mid 60s. Winds have shifted out of the north, which is playing a part in the cooler and unseasonable temperatures.

Clear conditions will stick around overnight. Get the jackets ready to go tomorrow morning with lows dipping into the mid 40s. Dry skies will persist through the first half of your Thursday. Highs will still be on the cool side - mid to upper 60s. As we head into the second half of the day there is a chance of showers and storms. The Storm Prediction Center has placed the majority of the Tri-State under a Marginal Risk "1" for severe weather. The main timeline for the storms is looking to come in from the northwest around 2PM and could last into the early evening hours. The main threats include heavy rainfall and gusty winds.

It's a seasonable and dry start to Friday, but the heat is going to turn up this afternoon. Partly sunny skies will stick around with highs in the mid to upper 80s. The humidity may take the way it feels up a notch. Those southerly winds will help push in that moisture making it feel more like the low 90s. An isolated shower can't be ruled out, but any rainfall won't ruin our plans.
