The primary suspect wanted in connection to the death of 19-year-old Dawsun Stevens of Sturgis, Kentucky, is now in custody.

The Union County Sheriff confirms 23-year-old Isaac "Chase" Hogan is in custody and facing 1st Degree Assault - and that more charges are a possibility.

Hogan had been on the run for a week until being apprehended on Monday, Aug. 31. He was found by Kentucky State Police and U.S. Marshalls on Monday afternoon just outside of Uniontown.

Stevens died of injuries sustained during a fight, where witnesses of the incident said Hogan picked him up and slammed him on the ground, causing him to hit his head on the pavement, causing him to become unresponsive.

As of now, it's still unclear what led to the fight in the first place.
