23-year-old Isaac "Chase" Hogan was indicted by a Union County Grand Jury on the charge of 2nd Degree Manslaughter on Tuesday, Oct. 6, following a deadly incident that occurred in late-August.
19-year-old Dawsun Stevens of Sturgis, Kentucky, reportedly got into a fight on Monday, Aug. 24, with another man. Witnesses said Hogan was the other individual involved in the fight, and that he picked Stevens up and slammed him on the ground, causing him to hit his head on the pavement
Stevens was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital in Evansville where he later died as a result of his injuries, according to the Vanderburgh County Coroner's Office.
Hogan had been on the run for a week until being apprehended on Monday, Aug. 31, where he was arrested as the primary suspect wanted in connection to Stevens' death.
