In just a couple of hours, the streets of Downtown Owensboro will be flooded for the LAST Friday After 5 of the season.

Founder of Friday After 5, Kirk Kirkpatrick says, "There has been almost 400 Friday after 5's, we figured that out, but none as large as the finale tonight"

The festivities will kick off per usual at 5 pm, with a mile of free music, food trucks, and vendors. But at 9 P.M, everyone will want to head over to the main stage at the Owensboro Convention Center to watch ATKC. "All The Cool Kids" is a boy band, made up from the most popular bands from the late 90's, to the early 2000's. We have AJ McLean (Backstreet Boys), Jeff Timmons (98 Degrees), and Chris Kirkpatrick (*NSYNC), along with DJ Lux on the stage.

44News caught of with two of the performers, to hear about the excitement of performing together for the first time ever.

"It's a good way for all of us to utilize our fan bases, and we're blessed to have so many fans after all these years, to come out and be introduced to new acts," says Jeff Timmons. The band has promised to play all the classics, but they will also perform some original songs.

Organizer say, the 16-week season full of free music and fun has been one for the books. And despite every obstacle with Coronavirus, Friday After 5 Executive Director, Francine Marseille says "We had a successful season. Thank you, and I guess I'll start planning for next year"

If you did not get a chance to purchase a Meet and Greet Ticket with ATKC, you can still purchase a ticket for the after party from 11-1. The after party will take place at Mile Wide Beer Company. Officials say there's a max capacity of 125, and you MUST pay with a Credit/Debit card.

Just another day in paradise; afternoon highs again topped out in the mid to low 70s across the Tri-State under a mix of sun and clouds. If you have plans out and about this evening, make sure to grab a jacket before you head out - after seeing temperatures near 64° around dinnertime, the mercury will dip to 57° by 10 o'clock before falling all the way back down into the mid to upper 40s early Wednesday morning. Sure, tomorrow morning's lows of 47° will represent our mildest start to a day since this past Friday, but it's still going to make for a cool start to our midweek nonetheless. The combination of sunshine and southerly winds however, will help drive temperatures back into the low 70s by lunchtime - if you're planning on lunching outside Wednesday, make sure not to do so in the shade. Wind gusts near 15 mph at times during our lunch hour will make for a chilly brown bag lunch outdoors.
