Hopefully you guys were able to get out and enjoy the small appetizer of autumn these past few afternoons. Unfortunately the reality of summer-like humidity and heat looms its ugly head starting with this weekend.
When it comes the skies above, conditions will remain fairly uneventful. Temperatures will creep into the lower-80s with mostly sunny skies throughout the afternoon and evening. By Saturday morning we will be off to another unseasonable cool and crisp start. Morning lows will range between the upper-50s and lower-60s accompanied with blue skies.
The biggest difference we will experience heading into the weekend will be the significant surge of humidity. Saturday's highs will be a little close to seasonal norms with a heat index in the low-to-mid 90s. Sunday will follow suite with afternoon temperatures nearing 90 with partly cloudy skies. The good news is we will ultimately remain dry through the entity of the weekend. Current model data is suggesting rain returning by Monday morning.
