Thousands of Ring Doorbells are being recalled.
Customers have claimed that the Second-Generation Smart Doorbell battery can overheat if the wrong screws are used to install it.
The problems have led to at least 23 incidents of the units igniting and resulting in property damage and eight reports of minor burns.
Roughy 350,000 of the doorbells were sold in stores and through Amazon as well as Ring.com between June and October.
