Car Flips, Strikes Building in Owensboro Crash; Two Critically Injured

Police say three people were seriously injured on Thursday morning in Owensboro after their vehicle overturned and struck a building.

Early Thursday morning around 5:17 a.m., the Owensboro Police Department says a two-vehicle crash with serious injuries happened at the intersection of East 9th St. and JR Miller Boulevard.

According to OPD, one of the vehicles involved overturned and struck a building in the crash.

Three people inside the vehicle were transported to the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, with two of those individuals suffering potentially life-threatening injuries.

OPD says members of its Accident Reconstruction Team are continuing to investigate the collision.
