On Wednesday, Sept. 17, the Diocese of Evansville Catholic Education Office reported that three students, one each from three diocesan Catholic schools, tested positive for COVID-19.

The Diocese of Evansville Catholic Education office says the students who tested positive for COVID-19 are currently self-quarantining and will return to school at the appropriate time.

School administrators have contacted all potential close-contacts and asked them to self-quarantine as well.

Each school's administration has also notified school families and staff of the positive tests.

The Diocese of Evansville Catholic Education Office works with 26 diocesan Catholic schools across eight counties in Southwestern Indiana.
