TODAY: Heat Advisories remain in effect for most of the Tri State through Thursday evening at 7PM. Temperatures will peak in the mid-90s with a heat index of 102°+. It is advised to limit time outdoors especially between the hours 1PM - 5PM. Expect mostly sunny conditions through the day.

TONIGHT: Conditions will remain mild and muggy through the nightly hours. Temperatures will only cool into low-70s.

REST OF THE WEEK: Mid-90s will be possible for the next couple of afternoons. Heat indices will peak between 105° - 107°. Practicing heat safety such as drinking plenty of fluids and taking frequent breaks while working outside will continue to be advised. Rain chances will be isolated at best by late-week.

The combination of sunshine and southerly winds will make for another abnormally mild day throughout the Ohio Valley - expect an afternoon high temperature near 69° this afternoon. Friday evening looks as though it will be just as pleasant; after seeing the upper 60s earlier in the day, we'll dip to 60° by 5 PM before falling towards 54° around 7 o’clock. We are however, watching a passing low pressure system and accompanying cold front that is expected to pass through the Tri-State late Friday evening and early Saturday morning.
