Scattered showers and storms will make another attempt to develop this afternoon, especially south of the Ohio. Afternoon highs will soar into the upper-80s with heat indices in the lower-90s.
TONIGHT: Storm chances will increase after midnight as temperatures dip into the low-70s. Some storms could be capable of producing heavy downpours and lightning.
