We will finally get a break from the strong winds through the overnight as cooler air settles. Many locations will be waking up to frosty conditions as the mercury will dip closer to the freezing mark by daybreak. Blue skies will continue through the daylight hours as afternoon temperatures approach seasonal heights. Lower-60s will be uniform in all 31 counties before cooling into the mid-40s by Tuesday morning.

As of now, our best chance of rain appears to arrive by Tuesday afternoon with the mercury eclipsing the 70-degree mark. Showers could last into the overnight and conclude by early-Wednesday. The midweek rain chance is associated with our next cold front. Expect only upper-40s by Wednesday afternoon.

Despite the passage of this morning's cold front, the Tri State will experience another delightful day. Winds will pick up from the west and could gust as high as 25-30 MPH. Clouds roll back in through the evening as temperature remain in the upper-50s.
