MONDAY: Get prepared for sunny and possibly steamy start to the workweek. The AM drive will include mostly sunny conditions with temperatures ranging between the mid-to-upper 60s. Clouds will increase by the afternoon with the mercury climbing into the upper-80s. The humidity will make it feel closer to the mid-90s throughout the peak heating time of the day.

MONDAY NIGHT: Skies will eventually clear with temperatures dipping into the upper-60s by daybreak Tuesday.

REST OF THE WEEK: Isolated pockets of showers will be possible as early as Tuesday afternoon. Much greater chances of showers and heavy downpours will arrive by Wednesday afternoon and evening. Midweek rain chances will be associated with the next inbound cold front. The passage of the front will leave afternoon highs ranging in the low-to-mid 80s by Wednesday and beyond.

The combination of sunshine and southerly winds will make for another unseasonably warm day throughout the Ohio Valley - expect an afternoon high temperature near 69° this afternoon. Some areas could even see temperatures well into the 70s. Friday evening looks as though it will be just as pleasant; after seeing the upper 60s earlier in the day, we'll dip to 60° by 5 PM before falling towards 54° around 7 o’clock. We are however, watching a passing cold front that is expected to pass through the Tri-State late Friday evening and early Saturday morning. We won't see any rain from this front, but it will cool temperatures into the low 40s by Saturday morning.
