Illinois State Police say the Winter road conditions have already caused a multi-vehicle pileup sending two to the hospital.
Just after 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday, three semi-trucks were involved in an accident while traveling eastbound on I-64 in White County, Illinois.
ISP says all three semis were traveling eastbound on I-64 near mile marker 123 when one of the driver's semi-trailer began to fish-tail and jack knifed after reportedly driving too fast for the present road conditions.
The semi flipped over and blocked both eastbound lanes causing one vehicle to run into the semi and another vehicle to travel off into the median.
ISP says both cars were unable to stop in time due to road conditions.
28-year-old Liu Weiqi of Los Angeles, California, was the driver of the semi that flipped over. He was transported to a local hospital with injuries and has been issued a citation for driving too fast for road conditions.
