The Owensboro Police Department says three different shootings took place in the city early Sunday morning.

It's unclear when the first shooting happened but a gunshot victim, a male, did arrive to the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital at 1:29 a.m.

The male had non life threatening injures and OPD says he was shot while driving through Scherm Road.

Another male arrived to the same hospital with multiple gunshot wounds just twenty minutes later. He was shot not too far away from the first victim, on the 1700 block of Scherm Road

The third shooting happened just before 4 a.m on the 2200 block of West 2nd Street.

"Officers located two adult males near a parked vehicle," said Andrew Boggess, Public Information Officer for the Owensboro Police Department. "The first victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died on the scene. The second victim suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital with what are believed to be potentially
life-threatening injuries."

Anyone with any information about the shootings is asked to contact the Owensboro Police Department at 270-687-8888 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 270-687-8484.

This is a developing story.

We headed out to cloudy skies and some damp conditions this morning across the Tri-State. We've been tracking scattered showers for the first part of the day. While it’s been mostly cloudy, there will be some sunshine as soon as we get the rain out of the area. Temperatures are still expected to reach unseasonably warm values this afternoon. With some sunshine and winds out of the southwest highs should have no problem reaching the upper 50s and lower 60s. Clouds will clear out, but the southerly wind flow will keep overnight lows in the low to mid 40s. Tomorrow morning won't be all that bad considering it will be December 2nd.
