Evansville is set to host two USA Men's Softball National Tournaments in 2022 at the Deaconess Park Complex.
The two tournaments are, USA Softball Men’s Slowpitch Class D Northern National and USA Softball Men’s Slowpitch Class E Northern National. Both consist of 35 to 40 teams from Midwestern states and 95% percent of the teams will be coming from outside of Evansville.
Both tournments will bring an huge ecomonic impact of 782,000 and will produce 1,850 room nights at local hotels to Vanderburgh County."Hosting this event is just another example of the collaborative efforts to land sports tournaments which will continue to contribute millions of dollars directly into our local economy” said Mayor Llyod Winnecke.
This isn't the first time Evansville Sport Complex has hosted the two tournaments, but this is the first time Evansville has hosted both tournaments together.
