The faculty at the University of Evansville have completed its faculty-wide vote on Friday endorsing the faculty Senate's vote of no confidence in the President's Draft Academic Plan.

The faculty supported the senate by a margin of 106 to 19 with three abstentions.

Officials say the resolution will be sent to the University of Evansville President where the resolution requests written response from him within seven days.

We're told the Senate resolution points out the President's Draft Plan doesn't recognize the faculty's role within the university's shared governance structure and does not accord with the university's policies and procedures on curricular change.

We woke up to dry and cold conditions this Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, there won’t be any drastic changes this afternoon. Increasing cloud cover will be likely as a cold northerly flow continues ushering in chilly air. Highs won’t be going very far, we’ll likely only reach the mid to upper 30s Tri-State wide. We’re tracking a little bit of winter weather out to our north and west. Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight with a chance of flurries/light rain. It won't be a big snow by any stretch, but you could see some flurries flying Tuesday night into Wednesday morning around the Tri-State. Don't expect more than a dusting, with greater chances falling north of I-64.
