Unknown Shooter Fires Into Henderson Home with Small Children Inside

Police say an adult inside the home was grazed by one of the bullets.

Henderson Police are now investigating a shooting that happened Sunday, June 13 on the 500 block of S. Alvasia Street in Henderson.

Three adults and two small children were all inside the home when the shooting began.

According to police, the house had been shot numerous times.

A woman was grazed by one of the bullets fired into the home. There was no update on the extent of that injury. The other adults and the two small children were not injured.

The only information offered by police at this time is that "unknown suspects" shot the house multiple times.

They are urging anyone with information about his shooting to contact the Henderson Police Investigation Division at (270) 831-1295.

We woke up to dry and cold conditions this Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, there won’t be any drastic changes this afternoon. Increasing cloud cover will be likely as a cold northerly flow continues ushering in chilly air. Highs won’t be going very far, we’ll likely only reach the mid to upper 30s Tri-State wide. We’re tracking a little bit of winter weather out to our north and west. Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight with a chance of flurries/light rain. It won't be a big snow by any stretch, but you could see some flurries flying Tuesday night into Wednesday morning around the Tri-State. Don't expect more than a dusting, with greater chances falling north of I-64.
