Vanderburgh County Confirms 4 New COVID-19 Deaths, 355 Total

After four new COVID-19 deaths were confirmed in Vanderburgh County on Sunday, the state health department said 355 of the county's residents had now died from the virus.

On Sunday, four new COVID-19 deaths were confirmed in Vanderburgh County by the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH).

According to ISDH, 355 total Vanderburgh County residents have now died from the virus.

New COVID-19 deaths were also confirmed by ISDH in several other local counties Sunday, including Warrick, Knox, Gibson, and Daviess counties.

Overall, nine new local COVID-19 deaths were confirmed by ISDH in Sunday's report.

Here's a breakdown of all local COVID-19 increases reported Sunday:

Including those reported locally, 55 new COVID-19 deaths were confirmed statewide by ISDH on Sunday. That brought the number of Hoosiers now known to have died from COVID-19 to 11,401 total, according to ISDH.

ISDH also said Sunday that 1,764 new positive cases of COVID-19 had been identified statewide, including the new positive cases shown above. So far, 639,711 total Indiana residents have now tested positive for COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.
