Evansville Police are investigating a shooting that sent one juvenile boy to the hospital.
According to dispatch, the shooting happened on East Virginia Street near the corner of Sherman Street just after 5:30, Thursday evening.
Investigators at the scene told 44News they were looking for three to four suspects who were seen running down a nearby alley after the gunshot was heard.
Security video at the Virginia Food Market caught the suspects on camera and police are using that evidence to identify the people involved.
The condition of the victim has not been released.
