A small, private swearing-in ceremony was held at the Indiana State Museum on Monday at 10:00 a.m. CT/11:00 a.m. ET.
Gov. Eric J Holcomb, Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch, and Attorney General-elect Todd Rokita were sworn into office by the Indiana Supreme Court Chief Justice Loretta Rush.
In Indiana's 2020 gubernatorial race, Holcomb secured his re-election with around 55% of the vote against Democratic candidate Dr. Woody Myers and Libertarian Donald Rainwater.
As for the position of Indiana Attorney General, Republican candidate Todd Rokita secured the spot with 58% of the vote against Democratic candidate Jonathan Weinzapfel.
Rokita and his family celebrated his election as Indiana Attorney General while quarantined after his campaign announced on election day 2020 that he had tested positive for COVID-19.
Due to COVID-19, attendance at Monday's swearing-in ceremony at the Indiana State Museum was closed to the public.
