Eligible Hoosiers will soon be able to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at Walmart and Sam's Club locations across the state of Indiana.
As of Feb. 12, 2021, Walmart and Sam’s Club pharmacies will begin administering COVID-19 vaccines in Indiana through the U.S. Federal Retail Pharmacy Program.
For now, all Hoosiers age 65-years-old and above are eligible to receive the vaccine, as are all long-term care residents, first responders, and frontline healthcare workers.
COVID-19 Vaccine in the Tri-State: Who Can Get It and Where?
Individuals seeking a vaccination appointment from a Sam's Club pharmacy location do not need to be a member of Sam’s Club to sign-up for an appointment.
Appointments will be available seven days a week, but vaccine supply and eligibility will vary based on state and local guidelines.
In addition to appointments, the scheduler will provide a digital reminder when it is time to return for the second vaccine, which is why customers are asked to create a profile, helping to ensure customers receive the second dose of the vaccine in the timeframe required.

Over1,000 Walmart and Sam’s Club pharmacies in 22 states are receiving federal vaccine allocations within the week, with an emphasis on locations that reach customers in underserved communities with limited access to healthcare.
