Warrick County School Corporation (WCSC) Superintendent Brad Schneider announced Friday that starting Monday, Dec. 7, all middle school extra-curricular activities and athletics would be suspended.
The suspension includes all practices, games, and performances.
According to Supt. Schneider, the suspension of those activities will be re-evaluated in early January.
WCSC says the decision was made after discussion with both the Warrick County Health Department and middle school principals.
Middle schools within WCSC include Castle South Middle School, Boonville Middle School, Castle North Middle School, and Tecumseh Middle School.
