The Kentucky State Police is currently investigating the death of a Providence couple.

On Wednesday around 11:00 p.m., KSP Detectives were called to the scene of a shooting by the Webster County Sheriff's Office at a home on Lutontown Lisman Road in Providence, Kentucky.

According to KSP, when detectives arrived at the home, they found 41-year-old Dana Ensing and her 42-year-old husband Kyle Ensing dead in their home.

KSP says preliminary investigation revealed each victim appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds, and that as of now, it appears Kyle shot his wife and then turned the gun on himself.

Dana and Kyle were both pronounced dead at the scene by the Webster County Coroner's Office, according to KSP.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
