Webster County Jail Reports COVID-19 Cases

The Webster County Detention Center is reporting cases of COVID-19 at the Restricted Custody Center.

The Webster County Detention Center is reporting cases of COVID-19 at the Restricted Custody Center.

Officials say the health department tested all inmates and staff at the Restricted Custody Center. Of the 51 inmates, 40 tests came back positive. Meanwhile, one of five staff came back positive.

We're told the facility is on lockdown and the negative and positive tests are separated into different forms.

Officials say there have been no positive cases reported at the Detention Center.
