The start of the iconic West Side Nut Club Fall Festival in Evansville, Indiana, is now here.

The full Fall Festival begins on Monday, Oct. 4, with activities available starting in the morning and continuing into the late evening. The Nut Club has released a full schedule for the festival that you can see by clicking here.

We previously reported that at least six booths had dropped out of the Fall Festival over COVID-19 concerns. Now, we're told that several more have pulled out. Still, the Nut Club's official 2021 Munchie Map says there will be over 100 booths offering goods along Franklin Street.

A wide variety of rides will be available too. You can see a full list of this year's rides and height requirements by clicking here. Ride wristbands can be purchased for $25 from ticket booths at the Fall Festival.

For those looking to try their luck, the West Side Nut Club will once again be hosting a Nut Club Half-Pot. The Nut Club says that this year, tickets for the Half-Pot will only be sold at four walk-up booths along W. Franklin Street during the Fall Festival.

If you're in need of transportation to the Fall Festival, or if you're looking for a way to possibly avoid parking problems, METS is offering shuttle services to the public over the course of the week-long festival.

After beginning on Monday, Oct. 4, the festival will run through Saturday, Oct. 9.

A line of sustained to heavy rainfall is expected to push northeastward across the Tri-State between the hours 7AM and 11AM Thursday morning; be sure to pack an umbrella early tomorrow, as that timeline will fall during your morning commute Thursday. After the initial line of rain exits east of the region, we'll continue to see periods of scattered rainfall throughout our Thursday afternoon and evening. Unfortunately, the same can be said for our Friday - lower pressure slowly spinning eastward will stall the rainfall and prolong our precip chances as we head into Friday afternoon and evening. It looks as though those chances of rainfall throughout our Friday will be sporadic at best and shouldn't lead to any significant disruption to those Friday night football games.
