The energy company Kenergy is making free Wi-Fi available for students at 14 school districts in the communities it serves.
“Kenergy recognizes that this year has been especially tough for students, teachers, and administrators in our service territory,” Kenergy President and CEO Jeff Hohn said. “Virtual learning has posed its own challenges, especially for those that don’t have access to reliable internet. We want to help.”
According to the company, Wi-Fi portal locations have been set up at the Henderson, Owensboro, and Marion office locations.
Students can access the free Wi-Fi every day from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Signs are posted to show where the best connectivity locations are.
