Western Ky. Regional Blood Center Holding Blood Drive in Daviess County

The Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center is hosting a blood drive in Daviess County until 8:00 p.m. Thursday.

The Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center (WKRBC) is hosting a blood drive in Daviess County, Kentucky.

WKRBC will be holding the blood drive at the Stanley Fire Department in Stanley, Kentucky, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday

Anyone is welcome to stop by the fire department and donate blood, which will be utilized in several different hospitals around western Kentucky.

If you can't make it to Thursday's blood drive at the Stanley Fire Department, you can find more opportunities to donate blood to WKRBC on its website at wkrbc.org.

You can find the Stanley Fire Department at 159 State Route 1554 in Stanley.

Wow!!!! It's cold!!!! After a trace of snow in Evansville and some highe amounts to the south, we're waking up to temperatures in the mid to upper teens across the Tri-State. Thankfully, road crews did a fantastic job treating the roads to keep conditions from getting slick. However, the northerly winds gusting as high as 15 to 20 mph has dropped wind chill values into the single digits and even below zero in our western communities. There won't be much of an improvement in temperatures this afternoon. With the strong northerly wind flow and dry skies our highs will only reach the mid to upper 20s. Winds will stay quite breezy keeping the wind chill factor in place through the day.
