It was quite the mess this morning (wet, cold, breezy). However, conditions are drying out as the scattered rain/snow mix has exited the area! Even though we are making way to drier skies this afternoon, the main weather story continues to be the cold temperatures. The combination of gray skies and northerly winds will put a cap of those afternoon highs – only keeping us in the mid 30s regionwide.
Temperatures will eventually plummet overnight into the 20s Saturday with mostly cloudy skies.

The weekend looks to bring us dry conditions with a little bit of sunshine. That’s the only bright side to our Saturday and Sunday because high temperatures will struggle to reach the mid to upper 30s. Dry skies will stick around for the extended forecast; warmer and above seasonable temperatures will take over the Tri-State for the middle part of next week.
