Winter Storm Warning in Effect Until Tuesday in Daviess County

Winter Storm Warning in Effect From 6 P.M. to 6 A.M. in Daviess County.

The National Weather Service in Paducah, Kentucky has issued a winter storm warning from 6 p.m. (Sunday) to 6 a.m. (Tuesday).

The National Weather Service expects heavy snowfall (5-9 inches). The storm is expected to hit Souhtwest Indiana, Western Kentucky, and Southeast Missiouri. Winds are expected to gust as hard as 20 mph.

Travel conditions are expected to become dangerous tonight, and commutes on Monday and Tuesday will be impacted. 

The National Weather Service suggests limiting travel as much as possible during this winter activity, but if you must travel, it is advised to do so with an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of emergency.
