Woman Stabbed in Evansville After Argument About Gas Money: EPD

A woman who showed up at an Evansville hospital with multiple stab and cut wounds says she got those injuries after an argument about gas money went too far.

The Evansville Police Department is looking for a female suspect in a stabbing incident that took place on Tuesday night.

According to EPD, officers responded to St. Vincent Hospital on Wednesday in reference to a stabbing victim.

Officers spoke with the victim and took a report.

The victim said she was giving a ride to another woman near the area of Sunburst Boulevard. After reaching the destination, an argument over gas money took place.

That's when the victim said the passenger stabbed her.

No arrests have been made at this time, but EPD is continuing to search for a female suspect in connection to the case.

Our winds will shift southward overnight tonight into early Wednesday morning and while it won’t necessarily drive temperatures higher for the predawn hours, It will help keep temperatures from falling much further than where they currently stand.
