The Evansville Police Department says two suspects who attempted to steal/break into an ATM machine are on the run after an incident early Monday morning.
According to EPD, officers responded to Heritage Federal Credit Union at 4920 Vogel Rd. in Evansville on Monday around 6:00 a.m. after an ATM alarm there was set off.
Police tell us the credit union's camera was able to capture two individuals in a white Ford F250/350 crew cab pickup truck (pictured here) attempting to steal/break into an ATM machine.
When officers arrived, the ATM machine was found on the property in the parking lot, but no arrests have been made at this time.
Although no connection has been confirmed at this time, officials in both Evansville and Madisonville are investigating the possible connection of this incident with an attempted ATM theft that occurred at Hancock Bank in Madisonville just one day earlier on Sunday.
Anyone who may have more information or recognize the truck seen here is asked to call EPD's Detective Office at 812-436-8262 or the WeTip Line at 1-800-78-CRIME.
