The grand reopening of the Taco John’s restaurant located at 604 N. St. Joseph Ave. in Evansville will be held on Monday, and officials with the restaurant say the first 100 guests will have the chance to win free Potato Olés for a year.
The first 100 customers to visit the location will receive a "Golden Ticket" for the chance to win free Potato Olés for a year. The prize will be given out in a span of 52 orders over the year, equaling out to one order of free potatoes per week.
Officials say other prizes will be given away during the grand reopening, and that Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke will be present for a ribbon-cutting at 10:00 a.m.
“We’re thrilled to be reopening our location,” said Howard Summers, area supervisor at Taco John’s. “I know will be excited to see this location’s new look and feel!”
The new restaurant will feature a myriad of new design elements, kitchen equipment, and operational updates that the company says will help employees more efficiently serve customers.
COVID-19 guidelines will be in place at the restaurant, which will operate from Monday through Sunday, 7 a.m. – midnight.
The St. Joseph Avenue location is one of three in Evansville.
