John Rawlings became the head of the 44Sports team in January of 2019. His previous experience comes from his time in Ohio.
John has been all over the Midwest, but spent most of his time growing up in Indiana. He has played just about every sport under the sun, and even broke some records in his prime.
Originally choosing to be an Aerospace Engineer at Purdue, before he signed up for classes, he changed his mind last second. Instead of pursuing a paycheck, he pursued his passion, and that is sports. John graduated from Purdue with a major in Mass Communications, while also minoring in several other fields.
John is very outgoing, and is always ready for conversation. He is very active in the community, spending a lot of time raising money for Special Olympics Indiana. Though he is a diehard Michigan fan, (Go Blue!), he is willing to talk about any team, even if it happens to be Ohio State.
John is dedicated to covering all local sports, and guarantees his team will bring you the best coverage possible. Feel free to email, tweet, message, call, or speak to him in public for not just story ideas, but anything at all!
You can catch his sports segments Monday-Friday at 6,9, & 10 p.m.
