Andrew Garcia came to the 44 sports team in January of 2019. This is his first job in television after working in radio in Hammond, IN.
Andrew grew up in Schererville, IN and his interest in radio and television came when he had a chance to do radio at the 2010 National Boy Scout Jamboree. He has been interested in sports from a young age and closely follows the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls, and the Indiana men's basketball team.
Andrew is a graduate of DePaul University in Chicago and majored in Communication and Media with a minor in Spanish.
Andrew hopes to get more involved in the community and to interact with people all over the tri-state. When he isn't working as a sports reporter, Andrew can be found playing basketball at the gym or anywhere outdoors, he also enjoys playing golf and reading.
