EPD: Teen boy shot and killed at Tepe Park Tuesday night

Police have released more details on a deadly shooting that happened in Evansville on Tuesday night.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — We are continuing to learn more about a deadly shooting that happened in Evansville on Tuesday night.

As we reported, officers were called to the scene of a shooting that happened at Tepe Park around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police now tell 44News that the victim was 17-year-old Emmanuel "Malachi" Young.

When police found Young, they say it appeared he had been shot multiple times. They say the deadly incident is being investigated as a murder.

No arrests have been made in the case at this time, and no other details on the victim or a possible suspect have been released.
