The Evansville Police Department's bomb squad was at a home just south of Jimtown, Monday afternoon.
According to a sergeant with the department, they were on the scene near Sherman and Michigan St. from 4:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
The sergeant told 44News that no one was taken to the hospital and no one was taken into custody.
However, when asked if there was a device found at the scene, the sergeant said, he could not release that information at the time.
The incident remain under investigation.
