Coroner identifies man in Spencer County death investigation

A death investigation is underway in Spencer County, Indiana, after authorities say a body was discovered in a ditch.

The Indiana State Police says that a man's body was found in a ditch off near Eureka.

The Spencer County Coroner's Office later said they identified the man as 56-year-old Bret A Fulks.

According to the coroner, Fulks' cause and manner of death are pending. His autopsy is currently scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 27.

At this time, the coroner's office says no foul play is suspected.
