Evansville Offering New Way To Report Streetlight Outages

City of Evansville Engineer's Office has a new way to contact them to repair broken streetlights in the community.

Evansville residents can email streelights.out@evansville.in.gov to report the outage.  Location of the streetlight should be included in the email.

City Engineer's Office, along with CenterPoint Energy, will process the outage and repair it.

City also have other suggestions in reporting street lights, including:

- If a tree or shurb is blocking the light, call the City Arborist at 812-436-5752

- If there is a new for a new streetlight put in, contact the City Engineer's Office at 812-436-4971

- If there is a need for a "dusk-to-dawn" light in an alley, call CenterPoint Energy at 1-800-227-1376 or 812-791-5190
