* At 453 PM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain was still occurring in scattered thunderstorms. Minor
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory
area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hopkinsville, Oak Grove, Princeton, Central City, Dawson Springs,
Cadiz, Eddyville, Elkton, and Fort Campbell.
Additional rainfall of around one half inch is expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
Keep children away from storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
Water levels can rise rapidly and sweep children away.
