...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Kentucky... Green River at Rochester affecting Butler, Ohio and Muhlenberg Counties. ...The Flood Warning is now in effect until late this evening... The Flood Warning continues for the Green River at Rochester.

* At 6:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.6 feet.

* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage later today and continue falling to 12.8 feet Friday morning.

* Impact...At 14.0 feet, Rochester Ferry stops operation.

* Impact...At 17.0 feet, Reeds and Rochester Ferries remain closed. KY 369 floods one mile north of Rochester. &&

NWS Indianapolis (Central Indiana)

...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...Illinois... Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site affecting Sullivan, Knox, Crawford and Lawrence Counties. .Rainfall amounts over 2 inches across parts of central Indiana will produce minor flooding along the Wabash River from near Lafayette to Riverton. River flooding should begin Monday and continue through next week. The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Flood Warning for the Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

* From Tuesday afternoon to Tuesday, May 18.

* There is no current observed data.

* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Tuesday afternoon to a crest of 19.0 feet Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday, May 18.

* Impact...At 18.0 feet, Seep water occurs behind levees on Indiana side. Hutson Creek begins to overflow from backwater. Old Darwin Road and a few rural roads in eastern Clark and Crawford counties in Illinois are impassable. Low agricultural land floods. &&

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Stay tuned to further developments by listening to your local radio, television, or NOAA Weather Radio for further information. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
