* A consistent signal for locally heavy rain is forecast,
especially Saturday night into early Sunday morning. Storm total

Green River at Paradise affecting Muhlenberg County.
.Heavy rain forecast across the Ohio Valley tonight into Sunday will
force the Green River at Paradise to rise above flood stage by
Sunday night. Moderate flooding is forecast to begin Monday night as
the river rises above 386 feet. Some of this rise incorporates
forecast precipitation and may be adjusted in later forecasts
depending on how much actually falls.
For the Green River...including Paradise...Moderate flooding is
forecast.
The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a
* Flood Warning for
the Green River at Paradise.
* From Sunday evening until further notice.
* At 10:15 AM CST Saturday the stage was 374.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 380.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
Sunday evening and continue rising to a stage of 386.0 feet Monday
night, reaching a stage of 388.3 feet on Thursday. Additional
rises are possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 380.0 feet, Water rises over the skimmer wall at the
TVA fossil plant.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 388.2
feet on 03/24/2002.
